Hello! I am Steven
I finished my A-Levels at Brentwood School in 2024 and am now at Bath University studying Accounting and Finance. During my A-Levels, Business Studies was my favorite subject, with Maths coming in a close second. Outside of academics, I love team sports and skiing.
Having parents in finance has meant I have grown up surrounded by conversations about investing, which has definitely shaped my interest in the field. I have also had the chance to get some hands-on experience through work placements with ETF issuers and a trading platform.
During my first year of A-Levels, a few friends and I co-founded an online greeting card business. It was great fun, but also a big learning curve—figuring out how to run a small business in a real-world setting was an experience. You can check it out here: wildcard2023.sumupstore.com.

I chose to join the Navy Cadets at the beginning of Year 9. Despite not having been able to do many of the planned excursions due to Covid during my GCSE years, I enjoyed learning the skills and the culture of the Royal Navy during that time. Since starting sixth form, I have had the chance to be more involved and act as a leading hand, which has helped me better my skills in team work and leadership.
I have been with the Hutton Football Club for four years. Before that I was with Brentwood Youth/Kelvedon Hatch/Brentwood Sport since the age of six.
During my primary school I joined the Brentwood Tennis club where I have been a member since.
Whenever possible I enjoy racing with friends and other karters.

I have grown to become passionate about learning, despite wanting to leave school when I was seven.
